Great news for online shoppers! We’re now offering free delivery on ALL orders on the So So Gay Store.
We previously offered free delivery only on orders over £50, but some terms and conditions applied. It could be a little confusing – if you ordered anything from our custom print partners, it stopped you being able to get free delivery on tjhe rest of your order even if the total passed £50.
We’ve decided to keep it simple – free delivery on everything!
This does mean some prices have increased slightly. These are the lower cost items that do tend be ordered on their own, which would make these impossible to send for free without us making a loss on every sale, but it doesn’t affect the majority of our products. We still believe we have some of the lowest prices in the market and are almost always lower than our suppliers recommended retail pricing. We also frequently check competitors to ensure we always match or beat their prices. We’re fortunate in not having physical retail stores and the costs those involve, so we pass those savings on to our customers.
For our own in-stock items, we’ll still be using Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service, which lets you follow your package from dispatch right up to delivery, and allows some customers to alter delivery days straight from the tracking page (this is something Royal Mail are still trialling so is not available in all areas).
We’ve never experienced a lost item yet and most packages are delivered within 2 days – voften the next day if you’re in London or the South East.
We also have the option of guaranteed next day delivery if you select Special Delivery at checkout and complete your purchase before noon.
Most of the products listed under the So So Gay brand are not held in stock, and are instead sent directly from our manufacturing partners – in these cases, you will get different delivery services depending on what you order, but almost all do give tracking codes too. These also don’t offer Special Delivery, so if you chose this option, it will only apply to the directly stocked items on your order.
We’ve had a fantastic launch to the store, with over 300 orders so far and our range is constantly being refreshed and expanded as we get feedback from customers about what they like and what they’re searching for.

In the past month we’ve added a range of books, aromas, and two new gay focused clothing brands directly as a response to suggestions from customers.
